I’m happy with using the flex disc on my period. The problem is using it during sex. My boyfriend and I use condoms every time we have sex. The two times we have had sex with the flex disc in, the condom broke, and it never has happened any other time. Considering how many times we’ve had sex, this does not seem like a coincidence. Great alternative, definitely recommend!
Tampons never worked for me, I always had leaks and could feel it about to fall out. Turns out I have a short canal so I stayed a pad girl. I tried a diva cup once and the suction was so tight ,I almost had to go to the ER to get it removed! We were going to Carolina Harbor and decided to try out the Flex Disc and Im so glad I did. I wore it for 6 hours, had no leaks and never felt it! The only con is removal was really messy so have wipes handy, insertion was simple and they have a tutorial too. Best change ever!!
I was looking for something that will get me through a concert. I didn’t want to worry about changing my tampon every 30 mins. I took the risk and it was completely worth it! I usually have horrible cramps. But since using this I have not had any! It was hard to change out the 1st one. But after the second, it was easy. I hardly leaked. I did use a panty liner, but I didn’t even spot! I will never go back to tampons. A Nighttime Game Changer
These discs have completely changed my nighttime experience with my period. No more spreading a towel over the sheet, wearing a giant overnight pad, and needing a shower first thing in the morning. I just pop in a clean disc, throw on a pair of light-absorbency period underwear (another game-changer, by the way) for backup, and sleep without worry. There are lots of benefits to daytime wear, too — cramp reduction, no smell, no tampon strings. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is because I do have trouble with daytime leaks on my heaviest day. After several hours of wear, it’s like the disc suddenly slips a bit (maybe it’s heavy when it’s full?) and a rush of blood comes out, enough to flood a panty liner. I can mitigate this by fully emptying the disc every few hours, but sometimes it’s easier to return to tampons for that one heavy day. Not sure if it makes any difference to the fit and seal of the disc, but I have birthed two children. New go to!
Super easy to insert and I don't feel a thing throughout the day. No dry rubbing or wet feeling. I struggled to get it out the first time and had to have my boyfriend help me but I got the hang of it around the third time! Also, possibly the best thing, NO LEAKING!
