The product is great, it covers my stubborn grey hair and last 4 to 5 weeks most other hair colors don't cover my greys well. The gloves are awful it doesn't matter what I do the hair color always gets onto my fingers even with Vaseline on them to try to not get it on them. I been coloring my own hair for 20 years and don't have that problem with other brands. The color blends well with my dark brown hair and this is my go to for a quick grey cover up. If your hair isn't very dark brown don't get the darkest brown get the light brown it will be the color of a darker brown but not almost black brown I think people who are ending up with their hair to dark aren't getting the right color for their hair.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on Garnierusa.com- jules234Reviewed 3 months ago
ruined my hair color and wont get off

Honest Review
The other bad reviews probably didn’t follow the instructions properly as I (M 34yo) tried this dark brown and LOVED the results! Easy and quick, and the color covered some of my white hairs that come out here/there. Do not touch
I would not give one star ,I used light brown colour ,, I followed the instructions, I now have nearly black hair ,I used a colour stripper afterwards which has made no impact at all ,I have to cover my head to go out until I figure how to salvage this , the only saving grace with my head being as bad as it is ,is that my hair did not turn green like the previous review , I always use garner products and never had an issue until this product ,, it needs to be taken of the shelves ,there is something far wrong with this product when colour stripper makes no difference at all,Reply from Garnierusa.com1 year agoHello DIgit. There, We know how disappointing it can be to look forward to a new application of color only to find that your results are not what you expected. There are many reasons why hair color results can come out too dark. When applying hair dye to previously color-treated hair, we suggest following the Touch Up application and timing to avoid extreme results. By doing repeated full head applications, your initial results will turn out more intense than intended. Your results sound like over absorbed pigment. The excess pigment will gradually work its way out of the hair to lighten up. Daily shampooing can help to gradually fade the excess pigment deposit and lighten the color. Very bad product, turned hair green.
I wish I could give this 0 stars. I bought 2 packs to refresh my color, followed the instructions exactly, and ended up with GREEN hair. I have 5 years experience in cosmetology and have never had this happen before. Will not be buying againReply from Garnier1 year agoHi KT923!
