[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Garnier Color Retouch in Shade 1.0 Black and was seriously impressed! First off, the scent was such a pleasant surprise-no harsh, overpowering smell like some other products. It made the whole process so much more enjoyable. The application was incredibly easy and fast. The product glides on smoothly and is perfect for quick touch-ups, especially around the roots. I used the sample size, which was perfect for doing my roots, but since I have extremely long hair, I'd definitely need double the amount to cover my whole head. Rinsing it out was also a dream-my hair felt unbelievably soft, silky, and honestly healthier than before I applied the color. The shade was spot-on for a regular black-no weird undertones or overly harsh darkness, just a rich, natural-looking black. And the coverage? So good! It did a great job covering grays and blending seamlessly into the rest of my hair.
