Regarding the color, because everyone's natural hair pigments are unique, sometimes a shade can pull more of those warm, golden tones during the coloring process. If you prefer a cooler look, we highly recommend trying a shade with 'ash' or 'cool' in the name next time, as these tones are formulated to help neutralize and cancel out unwanted warmth! If we had a dark ash blonde, this sounds like it would be perfect for you. While this is a rich cream formula, it should not be so thick that you have to wrestle to get the mixture onto your hair. We are so incredibly sorry to hear that the updated Nutrisse shade 42, Deep Burgundy (Black Cherry did not give you the beautiful deep burgundy result you were expecting. Let alone the unexpected orange that you experienced on your hairline. We know how frustrating it is when a holy-grail product changes! Hi Evilheffer, We apologize you were not satisfied with the results you achieved with Nutrisse Darkest Brown. We know how disappointing it can be to look forward to a new application of color only to find that your results are not what you expected. There are many reasons why haircolor results can come out too dark. Once you have color-treated hair, we suggest following the touch up application method to achieve optimal results. Otherwise, by doing repeat full head applications, due to the hair's porosity, you are left with a haircolor result that is much darker than what you intended.
