    Not the same!!

Since reformulation, I've been so disappointed. 63, brown sugar was literally the PERFECT color after years of searching. This new reformulation is not the same color. It's a peachy orange tint that I hate. It also does NOT cover my greys as well and I can't leave it on any longer to make up for that. I'm actively searching other brands to find something really close- because this ISN'T IT.

The color is easy to apply. It is a thick cream and does not drip. It also does not have a strong smell which makes it bearable to sit with it in your hair for 25 minutes. The cream rinses out easily. Color result is pretty and it covered my grays well.

    The new formula isn't good!!

I always had comments on my hair how beautiful the color is (#82 Champagne Fizz) BRING IT BACK!!! I had to go to a salon and pay a fortune and my hair looks awful!! Can I still buy this one? Tried the substitute and it was harsh and brassy 🤦‍♀️. My hair was so pretty before 🥲

    Favorite Shade!

I am reviewing the newest formula of Nutrisse, which is thicker, and develops green in the bottle (I guess because of the avocado in the formula?). I used "Brown Sugar-Light Golden Brown" in the previous formula as well, and IMO the color came out the same. There are terrible reviews on Garnier's site, stating that the new formula is lighter and more orange, but that didn't happen to me (YMMV). The issue people may be having, is that the picture of the model on the box is nothing like the actual color results. This shade always came out a natural light auburn on me, which is why I love it, and it does with the new formula as well. It's not light golden brown , it's light golden auburn. The formula is definitely thicker....maybe too thick (I actually squirted a tiny bit of shampoo in the bottle to make it more runny), however the previous formula did drip too much. I didn't drip a single drop of this new formula! The instructions state to leave on for 30 minutes now, instead of 25, but I left it on for 25 minutes. I did 25 minutes on my mids and ends, and the last 15 minutes on my roots (to avoid hot roots), and my results were even and perfect! I don't have gray to color, but I am coloring over previously stripped/blonde ends, that don't hold color well, and Nutrisse has done the best job so far giving me even results.

    new formula horrible

I used the old version for many years, while waiting in the expensive salon other patrons would come up and compliment my hair color, then you changed the formula. WHY??? my hair was ruined after using the new one, the ultra. Had to have six inches cut off. well, tomorrow is my birthday and I found a box of the old one number 50, just did my hair, once again it is like silk, PLEASE bring back the ORIGINAL formula.

I used this product for gray coverage on my natural hair. Now my hair is tangled and very dry. I regret big time.My hair is very soft and never tangled. What can I do to go back to my sleek natural hair ,am left with one option of cutting it down . I have used nice & lovely before and never had a bad experience. W

    It came out reddish

I used this shade 7 for many years, and it was wonderful, calm, truly natural blond. Covered grays well also. About a year ago (when they put Drew on the box) it started to come out as a strange reddish blond… the gray coverage diminished and the dye now is very thick. It looks like many other reviewers had the same problem. I will try light ash brown, but if that comes out disturbingly red, I am going to switch brands.
