Textured hair requires more time and work with any hair lightening product. My hair is comprised of finer strands in the front (around my face) and thicker, wavier strands going towards the back. Thus, I use this product on the finer hair, and it comes out as a beautiful and platinum blonde frame around my face! Definitely not for first time bleach. My pepper and salt hair turned yellow/orange and if you have long hair get two or three for full coverage. GREEN STREAKS
Yikes, used this on my blonde hair and now I have dark bluish green streaks thruout!Reply from Garnier1 month agoHi lsetts! This bleach formula is specifically formulated for hair that is darkest brown to medium brown, to lighten from brown to blonde. The anti-brass toner is a blue toner to minimize the brassy tones that comes out after lightening brown hair. This blue/green tone will completely wash out of lighter blonde hair after a few shampoos. We apologize for any misunderstanding of the color hair this bleach kit is for. Was able to get my hair lighter
This is the first bleach that has taken stubborn dark brown out. I've used it several times over the last 6 months. However, tonight I did have way more breakage than previous times. This was probably the first time I did it with only 3 weeks in between processing. It is gentler on hair than other bleaches. I will still give it 5 stars even though I have more breakage. Yes there are parts that are still darker than others but once I dye it with semi-permanent color it will blend in. Also you should use semi-permanent after bleaching with charcoal bleach after you dye your hair I did a lot of research prior to using this. Amazing quality for a fraction of the price
This bleach is phenomenal for dark hair. As someone who has been bleaching my hair at home with powder bleach and 40 vol developer, for over a decade; I'm obsessed with the lifting power of this 'boxed dye"!The conditioner is purple or indigo which removes the yellow. Many chunks didn’t hold the bleach
Never had a problem bleaching my hair before. Decided to try a new brand, followed instructions perfectly and out of my 6 foils only 1 came out good, the rest have many strands that didn't even bleach at all. Half my hair is still brown and the other is blonde. Not Bad but not satisfactory
The dye effect is not up to 8 levels which is really disappointing, I was going for white as I had seen early level displayed on the packet, I left the dye for about 40mins hoping that it would change to my intended color but it stopped at platinum blonde (I wasn't going for that). It honestly felt like I wasted my money.
