So funny how many reviews mention a horrible smell, because I love the smell of this! But I also love the smell of gasoline and the high level disinfectants I use at work, so maybe it’s a me thing. And it leaves my skin so soft. I really look forward to using it every time I shower.0 users found this review helpful.

I was really excited to try this, but my expectations turned out to be too high. The reason I gave this 2 stars is because it did remove my makeup well, did not burn my eyes, and there is a lot of product for the price. However, I will not be repurchasing this due to the horrible chemical smell, the lumpy/clumpy-ness of the product, and it is so hard to rinse off. I have used many cleansing balms, and this one is the only one I have had this hard of a time rinsing off. Once you emulsify it with water per the directions, it turns VERY waxy and does not want to come off. I end up having to use a washcloth to remove it which is more irritating for my sensitive skin. I would say as a cleansing balm, the ability for it to emulsify is very poor. A lot of the reviews are raving about this product, but I genuinely think you are better off finding something else. Burns all over my face and eyes.

Pretty good cleansing balm, but not the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cleansing balm is pretty good. It's not the best I've ever tried, but it's not bad. I like that it has hyaluronic acid in it, but I feel like a Korean skincare product of the same type would have much more benefits than this one. Smells awful and left my skin raw!
I love with the Garnier hyaluronic acid micellar water and I have been dying to try a cleansing balm so I figured I would try this one. I gave it two stars ONLY because it does work, it melts everything off of your face. That said, it smells absolutely awful, like chemicals but worse. I don’t have sensitive skin but it left my face feeling raw, dry and itchy. NOTHING that represents itself as a hyaluronic acid product should leave your face raw, dry and/or itchy! Starter Cleaning Balm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using a cleaning balm, won't be my last. Removed impurities and refreshed myself without feeling dried out or clogged. Thick and long lasting consistency with neutral scent. Packed in large pot container with screw lid that holds plenty of product. Horrible
