BAD RAZOR BLADES AND BLUE SPACER
This razor is a piece of junk. I use warm/hot water to soften the hair first. Then use a gel and wait 5 min.for the gel to soften the hair. This razor just glides over the hair on the first stroke. You have to repeat the same area 3 times to get a good shave. These blades don't contact the hair on the first stroke because of the blue spacer.

It's very strange that our Fusion ProGlide wasn't able to help you get the smooth shave that we all expect, especially since you're using warm water and a pre-shave.
