Terrible smell / not effective
Ran out of regular and store was out so grabbed clinical strength shampoo. The shampoo would appear to be ok and same as before but it literally made my bathroom, shower, my scalp and hair smell so bad that after two weeks of using it I had to stop. Other people noticed the smell as well. I do not recommend for anyone besides the terrible smell it gives you it wasn't effective as other regular head and shoulders!0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on headandshoulders.com - Reviewed 1 month agoSí, recomiendoFácil de usarDe 5DuraderoDe 5Valor De 5Cumple mis expectativasDe 5Calidad De 50 users found this review helpful.

Effective for dandruff but smells HORRIBLE
The regular H&S formula wasn't working for my son's dandruff problem, so I bought this product. Its "clinical strength" seems to work, and my son was happy that he no longer had dandruff. HOWEVER. After he started using this shampoo, his bathroom began to smell foul. Not sewage type of foul, I don't know how to describe it, but it was unpleasant and we could smell it outside the bathroom down the hallway. Keeping the fan on did not help, and the smell began to get stronger. I eventually figured out this shampoo was causing the smell, and I started washing the shower curtain and the liner weekly (which is ridiculous), and that seemed to help reduce the smell just a little but did not eliminate it. I finally gave up and replaced this shampoo with the regular H&S formula, and the smell was almost gone, except there was the lingering smell I could not get rid of. I replaced the shower curtain and liner, and that's when the smell was finally gone. I apologize for what may seem like a diatribe, but I wanted to share my experience to show just how bad the smell was. It was disappointing to have to stop using the product, as it was truly effective.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on headandshoulders.com - BrooklynnReviewed 1 month ago
Ingredient change? new formula not helpful
I used to use Head & Shoulders Clinical Strength Dandruff Defense Dry Scale Rescue for my sehborreic dermatitis. I'm pretty sure the formula has changed within the past few years because I can no longer use this product. I am allergic to the ingredient cocomidopropyl betaine. Which used to not be feature as an ingredient in this shampoo, but now is listed on the bottle. I also checked the website, and cocomidopropyl betaine is not listed in the ingredients, which is a little deceiving… it's really hard to find shampoos and soaps that don't include this ingredient, so sad that this product has started using it.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on headandshoulders.com - Sí, recomiendoELLENCompra verificadaReviewed 2 months agoValor De 5Cumple mis expectativasDe 5Calidad De 50 users found this review helpful.
