Change it back
Younger people don’t buy Irish spring so why rebrand for them. 90% of your money comes from 35 and older. Horrible, horrible smell
The changed smell is repulsive. I was a loyal Irish Spring customer for decades. Marketing classes had been teaching about the "New Coke" debacle since the 1980s. Now they can add your New Irish Spring soap to the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" list of marketing failures. Whoever convinced your executives this would be a good idea should be fired. Bring back the original WITHOUT that crappy flaxseed oil and I'll buy it again. Until then, Zest works as a substitute.Oh, and quit LYING that that "original" is original. Can't stand the smell or oily feeling of this soap
Like many others, I have used Irish Spring bar soap for decades and I never thought about switching. Well, a few years ago I bought some and immediately noticed the smell was off, and the soap felt kind of slimy and seemed to leave an oily feeling on my skin. I tried using it a couple more times hoping that I'd get used to it, but I just can't stand the smell and so I threw the bar out. Please, please bring back the old formulation if you want me back as a customer! Flaxseed oil
I bought this for years and since they added flaxseed oil there is a rancid smell. Does the job
It does smell a bit different from what I remember but still is fresh to me. And still does the job on keeping my armpits and 4skin smelling very fresh according to my woman when she goes downtown. Best Soap
I'm a long time user of Irish Spring original bar soap and recently started using the reformulated version. It's amazing! Great updated scent, long last bars, and doesn't dry out your skin.
