These were my favorite clips and I was so sad when both springs eventuallly gave out and broke. I tried to think of a way to fix them, the clip part was fine, but the spring aparently only lasts so long. Not for thick/dense hair :/
My roommate and I are both Asian-- I have very full and dense hair and she has very thick and textured hair. The clips are simply too small and the jumbo size seems to be more about the length/height of the clip than how much hair it can actually accommodate. Additionally, the prongs are quite sharp and can be painful against the scalp when clipping, so I would not recommend for people with sensitive scalps. Great Claw Clips
I have never been able to get hair clips to stay in my hair. They slide out even though my hair is thick but it's fine. I have tried the head bands, Miss Kitty clasps & these Claw Clips. So far they work amazing with my hair, I am very satisfied with all my purchases so far. What makes it better is that the business is woman owned.
