L’Oreal hair spray
Hairspray is a luxury for an older person living on severely limited income. In my case, it is a necessity as my hair is extremely thin. I used Sebastian for 40 years but now must have a less expensive product. While this product is only a little less, it performs well for my needs. I do love L’Oreal products. New scent is very strong. Very noticeably different after the very first spray. As a person who doesn't wash her hair each day, I find this scent begins to smell "ripe" (not a good thing) after just one night's sleep.Reply from L'Oreal4 months agoHi Eebe! Not good
I’m an American who travels to the UK once a year and buy several cans of the REAL stuff that’s been unchanged in the UK since the 60s. I know you either love the scent or hate it and I love it! New doesn’t mean better, this proves it.
The reformulated new version is despicable. The hold is alright, not the same as before. The new scent however is so bad that coworkers told me I smelled like a cheap air freshener cone. After reading some of the reviews I truly believe L’Oréal has paid for fake reviews saying that the new scent is good. If you read the good ones they all seem to be incentivized or bots. Either way the new scent is repulsive, so much so I’ll have to find a better smelling hairspray, which shouldn’t be hard.Reply from L'Oreal5 months agoHi Miranda!
