Nice product, love that it came with shampoo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I loved about this hair color was that it came with a hyaluronic shampoo for after rinsing. It really left my hair feeling soft. The tube is small but it is thick and lathers so well I think I could have used it twice. The hair color has a fairly strong smell but not the worst I’ve used. I used dark brown and it is definitely dark, almost black. I think it’ll likely fade a bit. The bottle was quite small, one box only worked for my roots, I would definitely buy two or three for my whole head. It also comes with a comb nozzle if you want to use that which I thought was cool.

Great for gray coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I color my hair at home and gravitate towards the Loreal brand. I switch from different lines but overall the brand is very good at coverage, ease of use, and lasting power. As you can see in the pictures my roots were about and inch and a half grown. You could see a lot of my natural color, the gray and the box color. This permanent color covered all the gray, it lightened my roots and left an overall pleasing color. It left my hair soft and shiny. Love the conditioner that is included, it smells great and it makes my hair soft and manageable. Would definitely recommend.

On the lighter side
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hair was already on the lighter side so after I used this it made it a little lighter with a little brown tone to eat. It was very east to use and did not have that horrible dye scent.

Deep Rich, no white/gray, Brown🤎
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, it did cover most white and gray hair. Compared to other brands, Excellence doesn’t leave my hair as shiny and smooth. The hair color is spot on, deep brown. There is still a little ammonia smell, but not as bad as 20 years ago!

Color refresh and gray coverage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hair color gave my hair a color refresh and covered my grays 100%. It was easy to apply and did not drip. The only thing I didn’t use was the comb attachment for the color. It was hard for me to use without feeling like the color was going to drip down my back. The fine tip application did great.

Best gray coverage

From start to finish, the entire experience felt thoughtful, high-quality, and far superior to many other boxed dyes I’ve tried in the past. What immediately stood out to me was the Triple Protection system. I love that this color focuses on caring for your hair before, during, and after coloring. My hair can be sensitive and prone to dryness, so this was a huge plus for me. The formula felt creamy and conditioning right from application — not runny, not messy, and very easy to control. It applied evenly from root to tip, which made a big difference in achieving consistent color results. One of my biggest concerns with any permanent hair color is gray coverage, and this product truly exceeded my expectations. It covered my grays completely, including the stubborn ones around my hairline and part. It is a great option
