I was really excited to try this eye liner as I love gel based liners. The first issue is that the color goes on extremely thick in my opinion. So no big deal, I can thin it by using a q-tip. The real issue is how easily it smudges. After about two hours (sometimes not even), I get almost a double line or what looks like raccoon eyes. I've tried using it several different times and unfortunately this happens every single time. I'm tossing this as I'm tired of having to correct my eyeliner every hour.

Long lasting product
I've been looking for a good low cost eyeliner that last all day & doesn't run/smear making me look like I have a black eye! This mascara does last all day however I find myself smudging around lunch time.

Reviewed 1 year agoit meets the general idea of what it's supposed to do but I find that by lunch time at work I'm having to reapply. I mean I still love it, it works. it doesn't smear below my eyes like some awfully do! it's not the best I'm sure but it's definitely not the worst. I mean I just like the fact it doesn't give me raccoon eyes literally like after I apply it. Oh and also FOR THE ONES CURIOUS ABOUT WHERE THE SHARPENER IS AT...YOU HAVE TO PULL THE SMUDGER OUT AND ITS ON THE OTHER END OF THAT!

I am 54 years old and this is the best eyeliner pencil ever. It glides on; you don't have to go back and forth over the same spot and it stays put during a spin class. I've been using it for a couple of years. I absolutely love it! Not the cheapest eyeliner pencil you can buy and every time I go cheaper I regret it so no more.

The line itself is a little too much on the soft side and wears off too easily but not really my issue with this pencil. I've my new point has worn down i could not resharpen the pencil. Whatever material the outer part is made from simply fires not sharpen and i used more than one sharpener.

Hi Shetex! Thanks for reaching out to us regarding Never Fail™ Eyeliner. We can see how you would be upset if you could not sharpen this product. This can be sharpened in a eye pencil sharpener. We like our: Infallible Eye Makeup Pencil Sharpener. We are glad you love these amazing shades but we're sorry you are having a hard time sharpening them. This new generation of gel liners provides great color payoff but needs a gentle touch to sharpen successfully. For best results, insert the pencil into a good cosmetic pencil sharpener no more than 1/4 of an inch. If you push the pencil too far into the sharpener, the blade will grab too much and become difficult to sharpen. The goal is to shave off the resin in a thin curl to reveal more liner. The pencil should be sharpened frequently so that 3 or 4 gentle turns are sufficient to achieve the desired result. Replace sharpener when the blade has dulled and no longer sharpens smoothly. I really like it but can't use it after the first sharpened part is used up. It will not wind down new part.
