The lightest blonde did not lighten my roots enough. Turned slightly orangish. I even left in on for 13 min because I could see it was lightening enough. It there a lighter shade. Easy application, great construction, but still not happy with outcome. I guess I'll have to go back to the salon when it grows out to mget the results I was hoping for. I wish it had worked. All natural haircolor that is darker than pale blonde has red and gold pigments. When you lighten your natural color, these warm gold and red pigments are revealed. With most single-process permanent haircolors such as this, you can lighten your hair only up to two shades lighter than your natural color without exposing these warm tones. If a brassy result is still achieved, the shade used may have been too light for your starting color. Unfortunately, leaving the product on longer will not provide additional lift. Great Gray Coverage and Easy to Use
I really like this root touch-up! The Dark Brown shade blends nicely with my hair and gives great coverage, especially on my grays. It’s easy to apply, works quickly, and leaves my roots looking fresh and natural. It’s perfect for extending the time between salon color appointments. Great Product!
I have to say I was really impressed with this stuff. Only 10 minutes! I chose 8 minutes because I wasn't quite sure how it was going to work. My roots were white. This did cover in 8 minutes. I did the roots but then blended it in with the rest of my hair so I wouldn't get "lines". Always go at least one shade lighter than you think you should. It’s works very well.
The product does what it’s intended to do, I have used it twice and the fishy/outdoor dog smell is atrocious. It can’t be the Amino acids in my hair, I’ve tried many other hair dies and this smell has never occurred. The stench lingers for a few days, I would much rather have the ammonia smell!
