It was pretty easy to figure out all order of what products to use at what stage you needed them. I used this kit on my overgrown foots that were a dirty blonde. I felt the color itself didn't quite give as cool of an end result as I would've liked to see. However the extra toning product used inconjunction to the balyage kit worked wonders! Have to to do even section
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this product on my darker brown hair. It's relatively easy to use, but you really need to apply the product very evenly on the strands to be high lighted In some areas I applied too much, and some got too little. I think that the salons have a reason to do highlights in tin-foil, in hindsight that's what I should have done. Overall it looks okay, but uneven if you look carefully. The smell is quiet strong, so use in a well ventilated room, or outside if you can It's really not quite blonde, but more of a copper tone. It was fun for a beach vacation, and I hope that I can re-dye my hair back to its dark brown. I'll try again in the summer. But as a word of advice, be methodical about the sections being even in size and in application of the bleach. Loved the idea but…

It is hard to reach the back of your own head to get this done. Not bad!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am no expert for at-home color but with that being said this was pretty easy to use! My hair is thin and fine so the applicator picked up more of my hair than it might for others . I got a little brassy because I have natural red undertones and I probably could've left in on longer. The toner was a dark color so wear gloves! It washed out fairly easily despite the color and didn't stain my face or ears. Overall I like my results, a little more dramatic than the highlights pictured on the box but like I said, I'm sure it's because of my hair being fine and thin.Reply from L'OrealHace 2 añosHi lizh217! Nice at home kit

Since it's bleach you definitely need to be careful and make sure you do a test patch. Could be brassy if you have darker hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this complementary for my honest review. I will start by saying Ive been a stylist for 15 years, specializing in hair color. Now I will say I've never highlighted my own hair or tried to color my own in many many years. I have too much hair to access or see comfortably. Now that I have left the beauty industry since October to pursue nursing, it was the perfect time to experiment. Not feeling totally worried about my hair at the moment , I thought I would add some lightness around my face. I have a whole video of the experience. The short is that the lightener mix of cream and clay based powder stayed put and lightened well without damage or drying out my hair. I put foil on top to help it get brighter and kept it on for 45 min. I was bright orange. The toner was strange and a bit muddy for a brass kicker and was not enough to bring down my crazy brassy root. I ended up fixing it with my own toner so my hair had to be fixed for the final result you see. I know that you can't tone properly without seeing and formulating based on what the hair looks like after bleach. Too many variables. I was sent a kit for light hair and mine is medium brown with TONS on natural red. So for a box I was impressed by the bleach and even the little comb thing worked pretty well. Although I used a color brush too . Great little kit, but not for pro result unless you know what you are doing and have the right hair type. Affordable if you want a little change and not rough on the hair. It was a fun experiment. I do enjoy the look not that I lightened it a bit more.
