It's not the original. They changed it. Changed formula-not good!
This was my favorite mascara that I used for 25 years. That has come to an end! The formula has changed, it no longer works the way it did and now is difficult to remove with soap and water. There's a saying that goes "if it isn't broke don't fix it"…why change something that was fabulous. From staple to trash
The new formula with the gold band it **TERRIBLE**. It's impossible to get off with cleanser. I am actually beginning to lose eyelashes since I began using it. I've used Voluminous mascara for 20+ years and loved it. Please, please, L'Oreal! Not worth buying
Hate this new formula. It won't come off easily. The old formula without the gold band, was my favorite for so many years. This makes lashes thin looking and breaks them off trying to get the mascara off. It's like glue. Lashes are getting broken off . It shouldn't take 10 minutes or more to get mascara off. I have tried 3 different eye make up removers and non of them are successful by themselves. I miss the old formula. Worst formula change

Formula change??
What have you done with the formula? I have worn this mascara for YEARS but no more. It flakes, makes my eyes water, is clumpy, and is hard to remove. Weak mascara
I am always willing to pay a little more for L'Oréal products because of their high quality. So very disappointed with this mascara. Upset About Loss of Lashes!
This has been my go-to mascara for YEARS. I recently bought a new tube and noticed a difference in the product right away. It did not go on the same and I could not get it off! I kept checking the tube thinking that I accidentally purchased waterproof. I did not. Then I thought that the manufacturer mistakenly labeled the tubes incorrectly, so I purchased another tube. Same issues! Using my trusted eye makeup remover, I could not get the mascara off without also losing eyelashes!!! My poor lashes are so sparse now. I want to cry. After reading other comments about the formula changes, I am so sad that they have changed it. I just purchased a completely new brand to try to save the lashes that I have left.
