This used to be the only mascara I would use. It was absolutely amazing. I just bought a bottle because my last one was completely out and I was very sadly disappointed. It is no longer the same formula and is an absolute horror to get off. It’s so flakey and gets in my eyes. GO BACK to OLD FORMULA
I have been using this same mascara for 26+ years. I used a daily combination of the original (grey tube), the carbon black and the white primer. I SWORE by these and refused to use or even try anything else. I referred so many to try these—and said that they’d never go back to another mascara again. This formula change was an EPIC fail. This mascara is not even close to what it used to be. In fact it doesn’t even deliver OK results. It clumps up horribly, doesn’t give any volume, and drys out so fast. So I’ve now jumped on the list of loyal users who are also searching to find another mascara. L’Oréal you have broken the millions of hearts of those who swore by this mascara. Go back to the old formula.
I have used this mascara for years. Whatever this new formula is is absolutely awful. Formula changes makes hard to remove now
Used this mascara for 20 years but I am going to have to start using something else. It’s too hard to wash off. It’s more like a water proof mascara now. I thought it was my face wash but I bought two other face washes before I realized that it really just was the mascara. Can you go back to making the old formula? Not the same
I bought this for years but not anymore..I loved this mascara, love the wand, it was thin and separated my lashes and made them nice and long..I would get so many compliments how long my lashes were..One day I bought a new bottle and just like most of the previous comments,it was dry, flaked, gave me raccoon eyes, made my eyes burn..I thought the flaking and raccoon eyes was due to having hot flashes but now reading all the comments, that’s definitely not the case..I don’t understand why companies have to change formulas when so many people love the original..If it’s a matter of cutting corners, they’re losing in the end.What a shame..4 weeks agoHi Barbara. Used to Be Great
I used the Voluminous Carbon Black for many, many years. Unfortunately, the formula has changed and the mascara is no longer what it previously was. It seems "dried" out and flakes terribly. I bought two separate tubes at stores thinking maybe they were old but that wasn't the case.
