I have used this mascara for years. The violet color. I recently bought a new tube and the color has completely changed. It used to be more purple and now it is burgundy with very reddish undertones. Also it now flakes off throughout the day and leaks mascara flakes in my under eye area. I even went out and bought another tube just thinking it was a fluke. something is really wrong with this NEW formula!
I have been using the Volumizing in black for about 20 years & advised many of my friends to this because they loved my lashes showing so long as though they were fake and NOW I can't believe they changed the formula. The brush is the same but the mascara is really clumpy when it comes out of the tube even separating the bristles & on my eyes especially on my lower lashes. After buying 3 different tubes from 3 different stores to see if it was the mascara or the date on the tube or something else I have to say they all were the same. New formula.
I have used the voluminous mascara for years. The 5x wear. It is now 15x wear, and the application is drier and does not keep the lashes separated. Washing it off is not possible any longer with soap and water. Residue remains on the lashes and under the eye.L’Oreal have made it water resistant. Nothing about these changes are for the better. Emphasizes eye color (green )

Absolutely awful new formula
This used to be the only mascara I would use. It was absolutely amazing. I just bought a bottle because my last one was completely out and I was very sadly disappointed. It is no longer the same formula and is an absolute horror to get off. It’s so flakey and gets in my eyes. GO BACK to OLD FORMULA
I have been using this same mascara for 26+ years. I used a daily combination of the original (grey tube), the carbon black and the white primer. I SWORE by these and refused to use or even try anything else. I referred so many to try these—and said that they’d never go back to another mascara again. This formula change was an EPIC fail. This mascara is not even close to what it used to be. In fact it doesn’t even deliver OK results. It clumps up horribly, doesn’t give any volume, and drys out so fast. So I’ve now jumped on the list of loyal users who are also searching to find another mascara. L’Oréal you have broken the millions of hearts of those who swore by this mascara. Go back to the old formula.
I have used this mascara for years. Whatever this new formula is is absolutely awful. My eyes burn every time I put it on and within minutes, they are watering and causing tears to run out of my eyes and smudge the mascara.Reply from L'Oreal1 week agoHello!
