I have used this mascara for years. Whatever this new formula is is absolutely awful. Formula changes makes hard to remove now
Used this mascara for 20 years but I am going to have to start using something else. It’s too hard to wash off. It’s more like a water proof mascara now. I thought it was my face wash but I bought two other face washes before I realized that it really just was the mascara. Can you go back to making the old formula? Used to Be Great
I used the Voluminous Carbon Black for many, many years. Unfortunately, the formula has changed and the mascara is no longer what it previously was. It seems "dried" out and flakes terribly. I bought two separate tubes at stores thinking maybe they were old but that wasn't the case. I used to love this mascara but now it flakes off, clumps and just looks terrible! PLZ BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA. THIS SMELLS TOXIC
I have used this mascara for over 20 years now. I have tried every mascara on the market and this was my holy Grail. I am so so so disappointed that they have changed the formula. I can no longer use this brand or mascara because this new formula smells like gasoline, burns my eyes, it clumps, flakes all over my face, and inside my eyes, which irritates it, when I try to wash it off, it doesn’t come off and it flakes even more. I hate the waterproof formula and this is worse than that now my eyes become red, swollen and watery. They have ruined a perfectly good mascara. Have you never heard of the saying “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” I cannot believe you guys would change up a cult favorite on us like this. PLEASE go back to the old formula. PLEASE LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. WE ARE ALL REVIEWING THE SAME THING AND SAYING THE SAME THING. Pleased, then disappointed
I used to love Loreal Voluminous mascara but stopped using it over 8 years ago because of the parabens in it, which are known to disrupt the endocrine system. I was very pleased recently to discover that the formula had been updated to remove the parabens and eagerly purchased a tube. However, unfortunately, in just the first week, I counted 5 eyelashes that fell out while trying to remove the mascara. It is too difficult to remove. I am 53 and my lashes are getting more sparse in general, so I cannot afford to lose eye lashes at that rate. I need to stop using this mascara once again.
