Amazing sun protection for rosacea prone skin
I have used this sunscreen for about a year now and I love it. I feel the difference in my skin when I wear this in the sun. My face feels noticeably cooler and less flushed. I also have not developed any new or darkening of my hyperpigmentation spots while wearing this as well. Even though this does have a white cast and is pretty thick, the protection is amazing. This may not be the best product if you are looking for a daily sunscreen to wear to work and you do not have underlying skin sensitivities or rosacea. This is a wonderful sunscreen for the working out outdoors, yard work, or beach or travel days with lots of sun exposure. If you have sensitive rosacea prone skin I would still give this a try for daily sunscreen use. This is more cosmetically elegant than the Vanicream sport sunscreen and is seriously sweat resistant. I still wear this to work during the peak of summer. I would be careful when applying sunscreen powder over this. Disappointed
I ordered this based on the team's recommendation after I mentioned that the Anthelios UV Tone Invisible Sunscreen SPF 50 left an oily finish on my skin. Unfortunately, this product is also not working for me. I find it difficult to blend, usually taking me over 3 minutes of continuous rubbing (I have timed it) to blend the product, and it still leaves a white cast on my face (which disappears after about 15 minutes). I have sensitive/combination skin, and after the vigorous rubbing, my skin feels inflamed and hot to the touch. I am not happy with the results. However, I have no issues using this product on my arms, where it blends instantly. A must have daily!
This sunscreen is an absolute must have daily for me! Living in Florida sunscreen is already always important, but using tretinoin makes be extra cautious of sun damage. It doesn't leave a greasy 'sunscreen' residue or sit heavy on your face. I apply it after my moisturizer daily and it feels like it melts into my skin right along with it.
