Maybelline uses Carmine, which is made of crushed beetles, to color the shadow. This caused my eyes to swell up after using the product, as Carmine is a common allergen. Love it!

I got the green/yellow color as a free sample, which I didn't like too much at first but it is a nice eye-opening color. I have oily eyelids and most makeup and liners don't last, especially since I hate using primer. But this lasts all day and beyond! Used for prom for extra shimmer.

The theme was "Into the Woods." It added this ethereal look to her makeup. Good formula, don't like color

The sample I received was the neon yellow, which just doesn't look good on me. I'm really pale, but I think it might look great on darker skin colors.
