Love the medium brown. Can't find it in the stores anymore. I'm a natural redhead and this works perfectly to give me eyebrows. I've been using this for decades. Best brow pencil around
I have used Maybelline Expert Eyes Velvet Black for 30 possibly 40 years. I live in Canada and they stopped selling it here. I have to get friends from US to mail me care packages or whenever I go to States I spend a day cleaning out all nearby drugstores. It is the best. Stays on long, even through hot flashes and water. Wish they still sold it here. Don't want to get tattooed. Wish they had a dark grey or a darker brown. The " Dark Brown" isn't very dark and it has a reddish hue to it. Anyway, please never discontinue!!! The best eyeliner to buy.
This eyeliner I consider the best. It doesn't smear on you and it's so easy to put on. I will continue to buy this eyeliner in hopes that it will never be discontinued.0 users found this review helpful.

Lasts longer with minimal smudging
This is my go-to liner. A lot of other liners apply very smoothly, and appear perfect - at first - but 15 minutes later, I've often found that the initial perfect application now looks like a clown applied my make up. It leaks and spreads easily; for some reason it just doesn't hold in place, leaving the wearer walking around and wondering why people are giving them funny looks. Ha!! Pencils don't sharpen without breaking
I've used this pencil for 50 years! But now I'm trying to find a replacement. The pencils won't sharpen properly and the tips break off after 2 or 3 turns in the sharpener.Reply from MaybellineHace 5 mesesHi there! For best results, turn the pencil gently in the sharpener 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. Your sharpener should be replaced whenever the blade has dulled and is no longer giving the expected results.
