Great Primer on a budget !
As a makeup junkie, I definitely have a fondness to try different primers. I have combination skin with a fairly oily t-zone for reference. I admit that I was hesitant to pick up this primer, as I never recalled hearing anything about them when they we're released years ago. I can say with all certainty that Maybelline has a true gem with these line of primers. For starters, I've been using the Blur + Smooth ( White tube ) for quite sometime as my HG primer has ran out. This product has a lotion like texture that blends seamlessly into the skin. It doesn't dry down super matte but leaves the skin smooth and ready for application. It doesn't have oil controlling properties, but it definitely keeps my foundation from breaking down or separating during my long work shifts. I would even go as far to say that it holds your makeup on fairly well during the summer time as well. I live in Toronto and can say that on our hottest days I've worn this primer and my makeup doesn't budge or fade. I've also used the Blur + Redness ( Green tube ) and it's similar formula just helps to cancel the redness and does a pretty good job of it. The results of both primers are the same in the end of the day and they are worth the investment. I have yet to try the Hydrating version so can't speak on that one. Would happily recommend to anyone whose looking for primer on a budget !0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on maybelline.com - HeatherB05Reviewed 8 months ago
Sudden Skin Issues, BEWARE!!!
I normally use a poreless primer made by another company, but it didn't really minimize my pores, so I found this product and decided to give it a try since it boasted about blurring and minimizing pores. First of all, it did NOT blur or minimize anything! Second, I usually don't have skin issues other than the occasional pimple, but after a week of using this product, my face began breaking out in rough and bumpy patches. I definitely do not recommend this product!0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on maybelline.com - Yes, I recommendKANDANCEVerified purchaseReviewed 11 months agoValue Out of 5Meets expectationsOut of 5Quality Out of 50 users found this review helpful.
