I'm going to bet that a man invented the application process with this product! It's taking me an hour twisting and twisting to get absolutely nothing on the cheap sponge yeah no germs get on it because nothing is on it! 1,000% disappointed and I will never recommend this to anybody. Unless you enjoyed getting a hammer and breaking the bottle open to get your product out this is for you!Reply from Maybelline3 days agoWe are so incredibly sorry for the frustration! We know how annoying it is when you're ready to use a new product and the applicator just won't cooperate. Pro-tip: On the first use, it can sometimes take up to 30–40 full turns to get the product to saturate the sponge. However, if you've been twisting for that long and still see nothing, it sounds like you may have a defective unit. We definitely don't want you reaching for a hammer! Love it, if you can get into the bottle!
Wonderful product, Can't you come up with a better container that is not so difficult to open or get the heat sealed plastic wrap off the tip? Lose the sponge
I wish this product was available in a regular bottle. Coverage is great. Shade is perfect. Applicator is gross. It sucks up so much product and it seems very unsanitary to have a damp sponge full of yesterday’s makeup rubbing on your face. I’m now using the product without the sponge. Weak dispensation and sharp applicator tip

Horrible Applicator!!!
This has been my favorite makeup for several years. However the last 5 - 6 bottles I've purchased the makeup comes out all over and around the bottle, making a horrible mess. So much product and my money is wasted!! Not happy
Purchased this product (concealer and makeup) - put it on in the morning. Removed makeup, using my normal products, went to bed. By 11:40 I was awake, with my face burning and bright red. Applied cold compresses and was still painful.
