I used to be a zealous fan of this mascara. I gave it out as a gift to family members and convinced my girlfriends to buy it. Indeed, it made me look like I was wearing "falsies". But something has definitely changed in the formula. This mascara sucks now. It does NOT lengthen, and it's clumpy. Furthermore, despite it not being "waterproof", it's extremely difficult to wipe away smudges. I'm so disappointed. This was my go-to mascara; if I could only choose one item of makeup, this would have been it. But no more! Waterproof and stays all day
This is the best mascara I've ever used. I'm an ICU nurse and I got sprayed in the eyes with a patient's blood. I had to use the emergency eye wash station at work and got my eyes flushed out with warm water for 2 minutes straight. My mascara was only smudged a little bit afterwards. Damages the eye lashes.

Problem with removing from eyes
I absolutely love the volume and length this mascara gives me BUT I cannot remove it! I did not buy the waterproof formula as I wanted it to come off easily. I have used the Maybelline Expert Eyes 100% oil free remover, baby oil and baby shampoo and none of these take it off without really scrubbing at my eyes with a wet wash cloth, which is not good since the skin around my eyes is sensitive. What mascara could I use that is similar to this one that would be easier to remove?Reply from Maybelline1 year agoHi there! Best mascara
