[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this shampoo before my hot oil treatment and I feel like my scalp is very clean and although my hot oil treatment made my hair very oily I can see a difference in how my hair is behaving. I like to detox my hair atleast once every month since I use a lot of hairspray and conditioners that can sometimes cause buildup... I like that this isn't too expensive. Avoid if you have hard water AND/OR tend to use st
It may work for you if you have soft water and rarely use hair products. But avoid if this is you. Know that if you have hair buildup from hard water, hair products and your own scalp’s sebum, the shampoo may bind these up in your hair. The shampoo instead of disolving my hair residue made it tacky causing abnormal amount of hair shedding & breakage in and out of the tub. The hair conditioner didn’t help either since my hair turned out this way. I had to go in with my husband’s Head&Shoulder shampoo twice to rinse out the tacky residue.
