The best eyeliner
My absolute favorite eyeliner. This holds up in the hot and humid Florida heat, and unless you have uncontrollable oily eyelids, will stay sharp all day. The pen is a brush, which I find for new pens create a nice precise line, and allows easy control with the pen-like shape. Removal is sometimes hard, but that is because I use regular hand soap rather than actual makeup remover (which does take it off easier). Impossible to take off
I honestly dont know how this liner has such good reviews. The liner wasnt super easy to put on as it immediately blet out on the wing which made it thicker than I wanted. But the main, real issue is that it is impossible to take off. I tried all the makeup removers and cleansers I have and it refused to come off, including noth oil based and water based. Not sure if it needed a special remover but if it does, that needs to be made very clear if someone chose to purchase this. As you can tell from the pictures, all the scrubbing I had to do caused my skin to go raw and swollen.Reply from NYX Professional Makeup4 weeks agoHello Lilmj108! Because this waterproof formula is designed with high-impact, long-wear polymers that grip the skin tightly, bleeding can sometimes happen if too much ink flows to the brush tip at once, which can be avoided by gently wiping the brush on a tissue before applying. To safely and easily dissolve this powerful waterproof barrier without any harsh scrubbing, we highly recommend using a bi-phase (oil and water) eye makeup remover or a rich cleansing balm. Glides on beautifully Dries very well
I cannot believe all the reviews that say this is waterproof. My eyes are tearing and it comes right off. I even did a spot test on my hand waited a bit I rubbed it put it under water and it came off. Am I missing something? This formula is designed to be highly water-resistant, but it does require completely dry, oil-free skin to properly bond and lock in place. To get the absolute best waterproof performance, we recommend applying the liner to clean lids that have been prepped with a primer or a sweep of powder, which absorbs natural oils and moisture that can otherwise dissolve the liner's barrier. Amazing
This is EXCELLENT eyeliner. It stays on forever and it’s really gorgeous and doesn’t smudge. Funeral-Approved
The love of my best friend’s life died a few days ago, and the funeral was today. I cried like I think I’d never cried in my life before. Me and my friends were alk joking after the funeral about how my eyeliner stayed on so perfectly, so I came to give NYX Epic Ink her flowers. 11/10, stayed all the way on all through all my guttural cries and screams at my homeboy’s funeral. And he would this this review is funny as hell. We miss you so much, Ross. My new favorite, way better than L’Oreal
I love this product! NYX is my new favorite! I don’t know why I was being loyal to L’Oreal I can’t tell you how many times I had to throw away the L’Oreal liner because the top came off. This product glides on so smoothly the cap stays on and it’s very long lasting. It’s very hard to remove with just water, so the waterproof label is real!
