This was my go-to brow pen that I had used for years. Recently, I got a new one and noticed the color "blonde" had changed from a nice neutral caramel brown to a pumpkin orange. I thought I got a faulty product until I started digging and saw others talking about how shades had changed. I wouldn't recommend using the "blonde" color unless you have ginger hair. I will unfortunately have to find something else to use because it is unusable for me now with caramel blonde hair. I am very disappointed and am wondering how other people are managing to use this product after the shade change.Reply from Essie1 month agoHi Rebekah27, we are so incredibly sorry to hear how much we have let you down with your recent purchase and we want to know what’s happening as much as you do. It does sound like a pigment issue…with the cap on, be sure to shake the brow pen at a downward angle. We have not changed any of the colors for this brow pen. Perfect for shaved brows!
So first of all: I have no eyebrows at all, I shaved mine off for comfort. These pens? They are the ONLY things that make my eyebrows look right, and stay on. I can do any shape I want! And they last ALL day, even through my crazy job as a dog groomer. Good, BUT...not water resistant at ALL.
Love the idea behind these brow pens. BUT- the second they get a drop of water on them, they drip away. Make these in a waterproof formula!!! Best eyebrow pencil no exaggeration
This is by far one of the BEST eyebrow markers. It’s buildable, you can do thicker strokes or thinner lines, it gives the most realistic eyebrows. And I used to work at a MAC counter so this is saying a lot. Please note, this pen should be shaken before each use: with the cap on, shake the brow pen at a downward angle. Then, uncap it and use the flexible micro-tip to fill sparse areas with thin strokes.
