NYX the face glue setting spray is basically as close to glue for your makeup…. In a good way though !
Ok so when I take a photo of a product I’m reviewing, it’s because I really believe in it and it’s coming straight out of my makeup bag that I take everywhere with me. I’m a musician of 20 years and I love to do full glam. When I’m performing I need a setting spray that’s going to be sure everything stays in place, regardless of the sweat pouring off of me. This NYX setting spray doesn’t weigh my face down once it’s applied , I barely notice it. But it makes sure every bit of my makeup stays in place while I’m performing and until I’m ready to take my makeup off. That’s 12+ hours of staying power and sweat proof. I like this product and it’s made its way into my makeup bag for daily use. 10/10

It’s okay
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is okay!! Was not my favorite overall. I put a light mist over my face due to the primer causing a burning sensation so I was afraid this would have the same effect.

Love this and primer
This paired with the primer is a must. Non transferable, non sticky, leave the face blurred. I wish it came in a bigger bottle. The price is so lovely too.

Would not purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to try the NYX Glue Setting Spray because of all the hype around its strong hold and “makeup grip” effect. At first, it does feel like it locks makeup in place pretty well, and the finish looks nice right after application. However, I ran into some frustrating issues. No matter how much I shook the bottle, it took forever to properly mix, and even then I often ended up with little white dots or specks on my face after spraying. It was noticeable enough that I had to go back in and try to blend them out, which kind of defeats the purpose of a setting spray. Overall, while the hold is decent, the application issues make it more trouble than it’s worth for me. I wouldn’t repurchase because the white spotting and inconsistent spray really take away from the experience.

It sounds like a frustrating experience, especially when a product that is meant to perfect your makeup ends up requiring extra work to fix. While the bottle says to shake before use, it sounds like you did that and more…It is always helpful to hear detailed feedback like this, as application consistency is just as important as the hold itself! Its not what we wanted to hear, but will be sharing this feedback with our internal teams. (nice pic BTW!)

Hoping this would make eyebrows smudgeproof
I have been searching for a product to replace the discontinued Elf Lock & Seal that made my eyebrow makeup completely smudgeproof. Had high hopes for this product but it sadly does not provide that layer of protection and my eyebrows easily came off with gentle touches, even after waiting over 30 minutes to be absolutely certain the Face Glue was completely dry.
