Pain relief
This helps take the pain out of the lower back. It May Seem Small; but, It has a big punch!
When I first opened the box, I was disappointed. It is small and runs on batteries. Well, all that changed when I put the batteries in, and gave it a try. The pads are much better than the Compex pads. Yes, they are expensive; but, they last for 150 uses. I've had the unit three weeks and have used it daily. The original batteries are still working. My husband loves this for his lower back
My husband tweeked his lower back and this unit has really helped give him relief. He's used it a few times and really likes the results a lot. Nice to have around. Sorta does what it's supposed to
It gives good solid pulses. My issue is the types of pulses are not consistent. They ramp up and down with different duration's types and styles. The pulses are listed in groups of what they are supposedly for but no indication of what you get on each setting until you try it and even then it changes over the course of treatment. I find myself frequently needing to increase or decrease the intensity due to it ramping up and down in intensity and the type of pulse constantly changing even on the same treatment setting. There is no way to just set a specific kind of pulse and keep it on that and/or keep it steady. Can't recommend. Also the wires on this and most of these are really thin and far to easy to break. I know its partially for comfort but if they break in a couple of weeks I feel like I wasted my money. I'd say a C grade at best.7 months agoThank you for sharing your detailed feedback, Eric. like physical therapy
When I went to physical therapy, they used a TENS device on my lower back and hip at the end of every session. I really enjoyed it so I thought I would try an at home TENS device. I have been very pleased with this. It feels just like the device they used at PT. I like the "Rubbing" mode best. There are 3 modes. "Rubbing" is the one that feels the most like what the PT's use. This device is easy to use and easy to clean up. It doesn't take up much room to store. It comes with easy to read directions with room for your own notes in the back of the pamphlet. I like to use it at a #5 or #6. It goes up to 15 intensities. Each session is 15 minutes. You can safely do 2 sessions back to back. Keep your cell phone at least 12 inches away from the device so there is no interference. Do not use lotion on the area that you will need it for. You can not use this near your heart, so not on your chest or upper back.
