I bought them to drink and add that much more protein to my diet. They taste good. I drink one daily and I started having diarrhea and the worst stomach cramps that I can recall. I did not realize that it was the shake that caused it until the fourth day. I started researching their ingredients to find that they are made with processed foods. The last one that I drank I was having the cramping and being in the bathroom so many times that I could not eat enough food to maintain. I could tell that my symptoms got even worse within an hour after drinking it and that is when that I knew the shake had caused the stomach issues. I am sensitive and I do not eat processed foods if I can help it. I realize that these are made with vegetables, which are not straight from the plant as the description that I found states processed. I know that some people will drink them without the side effects. If you do get sick from processed meat and other food then I would not recommend them for you. I am so inflamed that I have not overcame it and I may be in an urgent care or an ER. still due to about twenty times in a single day for a couple of days in a row. Tasty nutritious snack
I have a lot of food restrictions which means getting all the nutrients I need can be hard. Very easy to review, great product great value.
It's a win-win for me, plant protein, less unpronounceable ingredients then the more well known protein drinks. You can get it in two strengths which is a plus, it's yummy and less expensive than others.
