Did not clean dishes. They came out filthy. It was a little cheaper then all the others and I trusted in the brand name. This is worse then running the machine with no soap. The dishes were filthy and covered in a white pasty substance. Would Not Buy this product again!
My husband bought this to try. After one use we noticed all dishes had this white, chalky film on them. We have tried it several times, trying to see if it was a fluke -- unfortunately, it happens every time we have used the product. I'm not sure what this film is, but I don't want my children (or me and my husband) ingesting it. We also have a new (6 months old) dishwasher and it is covered by this film as well. I'm worried what this may be doing to the dishwasher also. I will never buy this product again.
The white residue that is mentioned in all of the reviews should be enough for this product to be removed from the shelves. I have not found anything to remove the film and I only used it two times. The first time my husband used it, and I was unaware of the problem. I noticed the silverware looked worn and spotted, but thought they needed to be washed. The second time we used it, I did the dishes. Two times too many. RUINS DISHWASHERS - DO NOT USE
This was a horrible experience, it says it dissolves stuck on food but it causes more stuff to be stuck. It completely clogged my dishwasher and I am trying to figure out how to get it off. Bad
This detergent was pointless. I've used it several times thinking it would magically get better. It leaves white residue on every dish every time. The last time I opened my dishwasher there was food still on most of the dishes. It's like using water. GE Says this Broke my Dishwasher!

Cleans well but HUGE PROBLEM With White Residue
We have been using Ultra Palmolive Eco+ Lemon Splash Dishwasher Detergent for several years in our 3 year old, stainless steel GE dishwasher. We are happy with the way it cleans but an AWFUL build-up of white residue inside our dishwasher has developed. It originates from the detergent dispenser. The build-up is so thick that it has started flaking off and has actually CLOGGED the jets that spray water on the dishes. So now the dishwasher doesn't clean at all. I boiled some water and poured it on the residue but it didn't dissolve. I looked up the MSDS and found that Ultra Palmolive Eco+ Lemon Splash Dishwasher contains sodium hydroxide (lye), sodium hypochlorite (bleach), and sodium silicate (water glass). You wouldn't want to get this stuff on your hands or clothes. These sodium compounds are probably the source of the white residue. Tried to remove the white residue with vinegar but that didn't work either.
