The Reese butter cups taste so nasty now. They used to be my favorite but the way they taste now, I will never buy them again. The pb lava (chocolate or jelly) ratio is off
As much as I rallied for PB&J I even wrote the corporate office as a flavor suggestion The new lava cups are a little disappointing The peanut butter to chocolate or peanut butter to jelly ratio is off You can't really taste them You put a sliver of it in there in the peanut butter as much as I love the peanut butter overtakes anything else so I think they need to try again and maybe go 50/50.Reply from REESE'S6 months agoWe truly appreciate your enthusiasm, especially your dedication in suggesting PB&J as a flavor idea. How does this have 4 stars?
So, I shouldn't complain. I knew the Lava Big Cup would disappoint me. All the Big Cup flavor variations do. Nothing will ever top classic Reese's cup flavor. Alas, I'm Reese's obsessed and must try them all. I use online locators to find which stores stock the latest flavor, then make a special trip to buy them. Reese's knows this, so they keep making them in weirder and weirder flavors. So far, the Lava is the worst. Dark brown goo oozing from the bottom of my beloved Big Cup. Doesn't taste like chocolate. Doesn't taste like anything really. Just a texture nightmare for the texture sensitive. Ate half with the 'proprietary' mystery goo, then lopped the bottom off the other half. Disappointing
Thought it might be good, but it wasn't. No chocolate flavor and weird texture and the artificial sweetener didn't help. Love ‘em, although hard to find in Texas.
