I usually use original red box Revlon Colorsilk 061. I bought this Colorsilk Tone+Gloss+Care 7 with a coupon. I saw color rinsing out, but after hair dried, you would not be able to tell that I just "enhanced" the color. Nothing happened. Comes with a conditioning packet and a scalp and hair serum packet. Results not as product description

Does not work as advertised
I have bought ColorSilk Hair coloring for 40 years. Purchased this new Colorsilk product because it states it lasts up to 28 washes. Well, I am on my 6th wash, and I need to color my hair again. Won’t buy again
Just tried this new dye from Revlon. It does say if you have a head full of grey it may not work as well. Well I was just covering some roots so I thought I'd be fine. Not the case. I can actually still see the grey roots slightly!! Also it doesn't give directions for doing roots only. Back to Schwartzkoff (spelling?) for me. Revlon Colorsilk Review
Hello Revlon, I am sorry to report that your product Colorsilk (tone+Gloss+Care) product has not worked well for me. Although your package cover mentions that there are 90% natural origin ingredients, use of your product results in increases in hair fall after use and the hair fall subsides to normal levels after 3 days approximately. I am not convinced that the product would be good for anyone. I recommend you remove the product and modify compositions to avoid such adverse effects before reintroducing them into the market. Could you please provide me the following additional information? (1) A list of 5 products with similar compositions. (2) Please state if there would be any differences if your the developer+colorant are used without conditioner+serum. (3) Please provide results of your lab testing to claim that the use of the product prevents hair fall. And provide any comparative laboratory tests performed in establishing safety standards for use of such products. High hopes dashed….
As a HAPPY, decades long user of ColorSilk (every 2-3 weeks), I am very familiar and pleased with the product. Soooo…I was excited to try the new "Demi" permanent color that touts lasting up to 28 shampoos. I've washed my hair twice since coloring and it's as if I never used. I won't say my gray is showing completely but it's so faded and washed out it might as well be. I'm so disappointed, especially since you can't get a refund on a consumable product. I'll be curious to read reviews from others to see if they have similar experiences.
