Really not liking the new formula!
So, I replenish my makeup yesterday only to discover that the bottle has changed - again! And, the formula is far less thicker than the original one. WHY Revlon! WHY!??? Now, my combination skin no longer looks even, matt and flawless. After 2 hours in the sun, makeup begins to sweat off and, recovery after air drying is not the same, unlike in the past when you still looked matt after the sweat has dried. Please don't send me searching for a new brand because I love Revlon and would really hate to have to drop your product! LONGWEAR is awful! We need original back!
AWFUL!! Longwear, is awful! I cannot find the original revlon combination/oily skin #240 anywhere. I tried the longwear and it just slides on like water. 42 yrs old and I've used your original colorstay since I was 20. Please please please bring back the old original foundation or make both. Why change something that was already perfect?!
This new formula is not it please bring back the old formula! Ive been a costumer for over 10+ years and the old formula was a lot better than the new one! This new formula makes you break out and it oxidizes really bad! Please listen to your costumers i've gone out my way to try new foundations and the old formula was by far the best one! Hope you guys really bring it back! Why not have both varieties????
Why don't you stock both the old & the new to please every customer, quite simple? Ok so I first got into this foundation way back in the early 200s when my daughter worked in a big store in nthe makeup section & put me onto this because it was the most popular & brilliant foundation I was a max-factor & mac girl but this blew them right out, then you changed it & wasn't as good so I stopped buying it & changed brands then over the last 5 yrs started using it again & got many compliments with people asking what foundation I use again & now I see it's changed once more grrr if I wanted these extra ingredients then I would put them on my skin prior or add to the foundation myself, why haven't you learnt yet that if it's fantastic leave it alone, your original was the absolute best that was hard to beat & I have tried most brands & nothing came close yet you messed with it fgs & now making the same mistake so why not keep both???? or even better still go back to the very exceptionally brilliant original????0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on revlon.com - AdrianaReviewed 3 weeks ago
NEW FORMULA 'WHY? IT WAS SO GOOD BUT.....
Wow what has happened to this foundation??? First original formula was the absolute best ever & I tried many brands then Revlon changed it & the coverage wasn't as good but now this new formula is so bad,I had so many compliments on my foundation now it looks awful, does not cover my blemish or redness at all so no point wearing it, what a waste of money, I've been using colorstay 24hr foundation for 20+ years now it's time to go to another brand since this has become a very cheap bare coverage foundation, it doesn't even blend properly, like it slides on the skin, & doesn't settle in, it's terrible, way to go Revlon, you just keep going from fantastic, to good to bad what next?? I've tried your other foundations but this was the best, your others didn't have the same coverage and this didn't sink into lines etc but now I'm so peeved off because this has become the worst. New bottle w/ hyaluronic acid is HORRIBLE!!!
I've been using this foundation for over a year and just bought a new bottle. Bam! Broke out my entire face!!! Only been using it a few days and have itchy red bumps and pimples!
