This is the worst lipstick I ever bought. I traced my lips and before I even finished the lipstick immediately smeared. I filled in my lips and it didn't go on smoothly. I pressed my lips together and the color smeared. Lips popping
One of my clients had "on cloud wine" , now listen it was popping so I put her under the dryer and popped down to the store on the corner a bought my own. My lips been cute ever since. Disappointing after have been using for so long.
I have been wearing Take Flight for a long time, the last one I ordered is not the same color! It reads the same. I would like to have it, although I do not want to pay again for the wrong color. I also have to agree it does come off while eating or drinking, really only has started lasting an hour or two while just talking. I've been using Revlon lipsticks for 50 (FIFTY) years (!) and yes this is the worst... Am very disappointed as I thought this would be a great new way to keep my lipstick on and pretty. First of all, after using the first time I discovered that the crayon falls right out of the container if you aren't careful! Who needs that? Also, when you drink or eat, you do wind up losing most of your lipstick and I do see this has been happening to many others as well. Not great on its own
The color Lifted is really beautiful. It's a very dark berry color (darker than what I would wear on a regular basis, but definitely a great evening color). I like that this is in a crayon form, which makes it easy to stick in a purse, but the application is definitely not for someone in a hurry. Lining lips and filling in is time consuming and because this is so pigmented I have to brush very lightly. It's difficult to get an even color application this way and in the end I have to take some tissue to brush off crumbles where there is too much color. There is also a mint scent, which is a skin irritant for all skin types, but my skin is particularly sensitive to it, so this lipstick gave me a slight burning sensation that wasn't pleasant. In the end I decided that this was better used as a DIY cream lipstick by applying it over vaseline and rubbing my lips together. This resulted in a lighter tint better for daytime use and it lasted a fairly long time with little transfer. I will use it from time to time, but not regularly due to the lip irritation.0 users found this review helpful.
