These are great for all types of hair, the wispy more coarse hairs. I have tried different brands and these beat them all. Paying more doesn't equal better quality.
I bought these a month ago, as my previous pair was no longer gripping well after nearly a decade. Unfortunately, these tweezers are worthless. I have to reposition them repeatedly to actually grasp a hair, and even then, the grip is so poor that a hair must be quite long to stay gripped. This suggests that the finishing edges of these tweezers are not ground properly. When closed, I can see that both ends of the two blades' edges only meet in the center and that the inside surfaces of the tips are not polished at all.
