I used to love Rice Chex. I also liked Corn Chex, but Rice was my favorite. Now it tastes awful. I thought I might have a bad batch, but I’ve just had a bowl from a freshly opened box. I usually buy several boxes when I see a good sale. I thought the last box might’ve been older and lost some taste. What I have just eaten it from a fresh new box. It doesn’t taste anything like Rice Chex used to taste. I agree with other reviews which call it bland and almost like cardboard. It is ridiculous how far it has deteriorated. I have talked with others who no longer buy the product because it tastes so blah. I can’t afford to waste my money either, so I don’t know if I’ll buy it again. Thank you Sooo much for making a toasted and tasty options for those of us who cannot have any gluten (including gluten-free oats) or soy or dairy!! There are so few options for us, and hardly anything that is also affordable. Mourning the loss of a good cereal.
I bought Rice Chex to make my version of Rice Crispy Treat. Our family loved the different shaped rice cereal for the classic recipe. The Rice Chex’s taste NASTY! Like cardboard. My husband thought they were super old when he tasted the treat. We had to throw out the Rice Chex Treat. Whatever you did to the good old Rice Chex cereal is a shame. We’ll never buy them again. Recently bought a box of rice chex cereal and it is just not good. Went through shrink machine

My Rice Chex 😢
Sorry, Rice Chex used to be one of our favorite cereals; not anymore. You changed Rice Chex, the Chex are smaller, thinner and it changed their crunchiness and flavor. Won’t be buying again unless you bring back the old version.
