I buy this night cream regularly so I know what it normally looks like, which is a pale cream to white color which is roughly the same color as the inside of the lid of the jar. The cream I received this time was a dark vanilla color, and the inside plastic lid insert was stained the same color (see attached photos). Clearly this had been on the shelf/in a warehouse for a long time, which makes me wonder if the retinol is even effective anymore.
