Wash and dry hands and scar area. Do NOT use a soap that contains moisturizers, lotions, or oils. Remove ScarAway Clear Sheet from its package.
If necessary, sheet may be cut to fit smaller scars prior to removing from liner. Wear side-by-side for larger scars. (Sheet should extend beyond the scar on all sides by at least 1/2 inch (1cm) to facilitate adherence to the skin.)
Peel off the protective liner from adhesive side of sheet.
Apply sheet with adhesive side directly on the scar. Press the sheet fimrly onto the scar area starting from one end and smooth into place.
Keep sheet in place for up to 10 days. There is no need to remove the sheet for cleaning. When the sheet loses adhesiveness discard and replace with a new sheet.
ScarAway Clear Sheets are water-resistant and will remain in place during short-term exposure to water, such as showering. Do not expose to water for prolonged periods such as swimming or bathing.
Important: Do not use any lotions, creams, oils, or make up under the ScarAway Clear Sheet, as they may interfere with the performance of the product and/or cause skin irritation.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use until the irritation is resolved, then begin using ScarAway Clear Sheets for fewer hours per day and gradually increase time to a comfortable level.

After your skin as returned to normal, you may reapply ScarAway for short periods and gradually increase the wearing time until a comfortable maximum has been reached. If you continue to have a problem, discontinue use and consult you physician.
