I've purchased Scotch-brute for years and had no issues, but the new ones literally fall apart during use - little by little pieces fall off. They're certainly not what they used to be - I won't be paying the premium any longer for inferior products! My guess is that Scotch-brute has outsourced production to some podunk factory in China.

I've been buying these sponges for years and the last package I purchased I noticed that the sponge is thinner. The price is the same but the sponge is smaller. They also fall apart much sooner. A big disappointment for someone who buys this product on a regular basis.

THESE sponges are not the same as they were. After a short time the sponge begins to fall apart , I find bits of it stuck to the kitchen tile. Plus the scrubbing side maybe not scratch bu clogs up easy, if i does no completely come off the sponge.

Reviewed 2 months agoBlue sponge failed after many successful years
I am 77 years old and have been using these sponges since they came on the market. And they were the best. However, the last packet I purchased was nothing like I've been used to - I thought I bought knock-off by accident, but I seen the name is as it should be. I'm so disappointed - How could you turn a great product into something from the dollar store. The sponge is stiff and wears out fast.

Major change in these scrubbers this year. They do not last like before and I'm using 3 of them in 3 weeks time or less. 1 uses to last me almost a month or more. The product has definitely gone way down in quality.

Reviewed 3 months agogood sponges for the kitchen
I have used these sponges for a long time but recently I notice the scrub part has been coming loose from the sponge. 3M must have changed the glue formula.
