Been using it for 8 years
I have used Splat for 8 years to keep my hair blue. I usually use Midnight Indigo but apparently it's not available anymore, so I got what I figured would be closest in color. Please never discontinue this
I have been using this dye since it came out a few years ago. It's a very dark purple that somehow looks brighter as it fades. This color works perfectly on my natural hair and it covers my silvery-white strands which is very hard to do. I ordered directly from the website because it seems like distributors aren't carrying this color anymore. I use this every 2-3 months!!!
I use this once every 2-3 months and I have to redye my roots maybe a few times per year. The color lasts so long as long as you use color shampoo and conditioner. It does fade more in summer because it's sunnier. Honestly I probably wouldn't have to redye it for like 6 months but I redye it as soon as it starts to fade to keep it vibrant!!! I'm about to redye it and people are like "wow but it's so bright still!!" So totally worth the money. It's easy to use and it smells sooooo good! I also have sensitive skin and it doesn't irritate me at all. If you're planning on bleaching before, get a good brand because it might sting your scalp a bit. I've been using this dye for almost a year and a half, and it's sooooooo amazing!!!! I get 4-5 compliments every time I go to the mall or in public places. Love the vibrant color I have as of now, hasn't been long yet. Would use it again but very difficult to wash out. It is thicker so if you feel like you don't need the whole bottle you probably don't. I will always use this color over any other
I have used several different brands over the last 35 years of coloring my hair and this is the longest lasting I have ever used. I will never change brands again as long as this formula stays the same. This color outlasts every salon color I've ever used.
