We're so sorry to hear you're noticing leaks, Livi, and this certainly isn't the experience we want for you. The only recent change to our tampons is that new product has a 20% (6mm) longer braid vs. older product and we wouldn't expect this to be the source of leaks. Using the right absorbency for your flow should provide 4 to 8 hours of protection, and we know how frustrating leaking can be. It's always important to choose the lowest tampon absorbency necessary for your menstrual flow. With that said, using a lower-absorbency tampon for a heavy flow may fill the tampon up quickly and, if not changed soon enough, may result in leakage. Sometimes too, heavy clotting may coat the tampon and prevent thinner blood from being absorbed. In both cases, using a higher-absorbency tampon is recommended. We'd recommend that you try Regular and Super absorbency for your heavier flow rather than Light/Regular for better results.
