Great idea

Not great fork at all. The only reason it received a 2 star is because it is better for the environment. It snaps and breaks as easily as any other cheap fork. Total Home Earth Essentials Compostable Forks get the job done! While there’s no special design, they were the perfect go-to for our football game night with wings. The forks were surprisingly durable and held up well, even with messy foods. The simple packaging was convenient and easy to handle as you can see from the image. These CVS Total Home Essentials Compostable Forks 24 count are great for picnics or small gatherings. Knowing you can the cutlery with the food scraps because it is compostable is a great help when trying to do a quick cleanup. They’re firm, strong enough to eat heavier or thicker foods. Good eco friendlier option but watch woth hot food
The CVS Compostable Forks are a great eco-friendly alternative to plastic utensils. They feel sturdier than I expected—strong enough for salads, pasta, and most everyday meals. I even used them with chicken and veggies and didn’t experience any bending or snapping. The material has a smooth feel and doesn’t leave any weird taste behind, which is a plus. The only downside is that they start to soften slightly with very hot foods and aren’t as durable as regular plastic utensils. Also, keep in mind they’re industrial compost only, not backyard compostable.
