First of all, I usually get the lavender scent. I think for the regular price $13...something for 5 tablets is a bit much, when it last only a few mins..3mins., depending where you place it. If you really like it, take advantage of the sale. It wakes you up as soon as you smell it. I can't say about the methol one. Maybe, that is a little bit more stronger? It's true that the shower steam tablets can ruin your pipes if you use this every day. It will built up. Negligible Vapo-action

You better research before using
If you research you will find that these dissolved tablet will eventually hurt your Septic by disrupting the good bacteria in it.
