This onion powder is excellent, especially in dry rubs for meat. I mix the onion powder with dry herbs, garlic powder, and salt, then sprinkle under the chicken skin. Quality onion powder
I was in need of onion powder so I was glad to give this one a try. I tend to have a love/hate relationship with onion powder. While I like the flavor it offers, too much can be sweet to the point of being nauseated. However, I haven't had that issue with this onion powder for whatever reason. It offers the flavor, and the sweetness and hasn't been too nauseating (even when I was accidentally heavy-handed with it recently). The powder tastes fresh, and I like the fineness of the powder -- not too coarse and not too fine. Works just as well as any competitors products.
This onion powder was very similar to other brands I’ve purchased such as Market Pantry from Target and McCormicks. I would consider it to be packed just as well as competitors products. I added it to a sloppy joe recipe I made and the scent was a little strong to me, but I feel onion powders always are a little strong, so again, not any different from a competing brand.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on influenster.com
