OK pitcher but the lid is ridiculous
This is a decent starter pitcher for one person, but the lid design is horrible and I would warn people with arthritis or any sort of hand weakness away from this model. Instead of a handle, there are shallow indentations in the lid which are impossible to grip and will slip out of your fingers readily when wet. Heaven forbid you close the lid to the reservoir fully, it seals so tightly that you will need to stick your fingers into the spout to pry it back off to refill it. Can't imagine how something this poorly designed passed through product development.Reply from zerowater.comHace 5 mesesThank you for submitting your feedback, your comments will be shared with the appropriate parties. Worth Every Penny!
I can't describe how happy I am with this product. I always have loved pure water. Not tap water filled with tons of crap. I looked into many options and this product right here , a 1.7 liter/quart with the filter literally filters out everything. Tap water goes thru this huge filter. I've seen videos of people just putting this thing to the test and it really performs. I live in central Florida, so water is 140 PPM, so you get about 50-60 gallons for one filter. Trust me there are thousand dollar plus jobs that don't even come close to taking out what this does. Like I can't say how happy I am with this. Ice, you will notice night and day. You see results immediately. Filters it out.0 users found this review helpful. - Water ProponentCompra verificadaReviewed 7 months ago
7 cup water filter leaks from top of filters
This 7 cup pitcher leaks no matter how loosely/tightly you adjust the filter. This is the second one I have bought in the past several months (since I thought the first one was maybe just defective) and both of them leak water through the top of the filter; it drips down inside into the pitcher bypassing the filter; so some percentage of the water is not getting filtered at all. This happened using many OEM filters; all of them leaked, so it must be the pitcher that is at fault. I had one previously for years (an older Zerowater 7 cup model) that never leaked at all. I replaced it only because it had been many years and plastic degrades. Unfortunately, I could not take the part that connects to the filter from the old one and use it with the new one(s) or I would have; due to the redesign, it does not fit the new ones.Reply from zerowater.comHace 6 mesesThank you for contacting ZeroWater. Very Happy with our 7 cup model
I told my wife I was going to buy a Brita water filter because the public water in Ft Lauderdale was colored. I had a filter on the water for the refrigerator icemaker. I googled water filters and after reading them thought the Zero Water brand was the best and better than the Brita brand. I drink about a gallon plus of water a day. I picked the Zero Water 7 cup model. This turned out to be the right decision for us. It came with a water tester for "Total Dissolved Solids". The 7 cup model is heavy when filled with water. A bigger model would be too heavy to pour for a woman in my opinion. After running about 4 cups of water I tested the filtered water and the reading was 0.0. My wife thought the water tasted better. After over a month of use the water tested 3.6 which is below the 6.0 where the filter is recommended to be changed. We are happy with the Zero Water filter and would recommend buying it.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on zerowater.com
