Very disappointing product (freezer bags)
I’m very disappointed in the quality of these freezer bags. I actually had a stem from some fresh spinach penetrate a hole through one today causing the liquid to leak out terribly. I will not be purchasing these bags again. Please improve the thickness of these bags to securely work with freezer items.Reply from Brooklyn1 month agoThank you for reaching out, Shirley Ann. Too thin - and cheap.
Too thin!! If I can find a different manufacturer, I will never buy these bags again. What gives (other than the opening?)!
What has happened? Your bags, specifically, the expensive, freezer gallon bags, keep breaking at the seal. I’ve gone to open the bag and end up with a strip of the seal and a closed bag that then becomes nearly impossible to open. Why is this happening?Reply from – Mindi2 months agoThanks for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear of your recent experience. We expect you to receive the same great quality of Ziploc® Freezer Bags that you’ve come to know and love. Each bag should open and seal with ease without tearing apart. New stay open design
I bought these and I am very disappointed with the stay open design - it limits the amount you can put in the bag! Today I tried to put a steak in a quart bag for the freezer but the length was not there so had to use a gallon that ended up folding three times over the steak.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on ziploc.com - wfaulkReviewed 6 months ago
Stay-Open is awful
I'm sure that they're the same volume for fluids or small bulk things like nuts, but if you're putting something large in the bags, all the Stay-Open does is make one of the dimensions about 20% smaller. Bring back the old design. For me, these effectively hold half what the old ones did. Unfortunately, all of the other brands have this same stupid design, too.Reply from – Mindi6 months agoThank you for sharing this with us. I’m sorry to hear of your recent experience. Terrible
The knee crosshatch stand up bags are cheaply made. They don’t seal as well and are strength is not there. Go back to the old bags.Reply from – Megan6 months agoWe’re sorry to hear that your experience with Ziploc® Freezer Bags hasn’t met your expectations. Although the bags were redesigned to make filling easier, we still aim to provide a reliable and convenient way to store your food. Not worth the money!!!
I have always used Ziplock freezer bags because of the quality but with the new design the seams tear just trying to open them. At least 4-5 in every box. I am very disappointed in how poorly they are made now. I will be buying another brand.Reply from ziplocuspwr1 year agoOur previous improvement on Ziploc Freezer Bags was the simple open tab designed to make it easier to grab the bag and open it. That being said, we apologize, as this is not the experience you should be having. We'd like the chance to make this right, as we appreciate you and your loyalty to Ziploc®. Maybe we got a bad batch?
We've always used this brand. We buy in bulk from the big box stores. We've always been very happy with this product and prefer the paying a little more for the name brand because of the quality and reliability of the product. Unfortunately, we must have got a bad batch because all the gallon freezer bags are very hard to open and when you finally get them to open, some of the blue line comes loose and the bags will not fully close. I understand a bad batch but that does speak to quality control and we are paying more for the brand name, you have a higher standard. Hoping the next batch doesn't do this.0 users found this review helpful.Originally posted on ziploc.com
