The second and fourth bags out of the carton were separated at the top for half the width of the zipper. Quality Ziploc Easy Slider 1 Gallon Bag
I always use Ziploc Easy Slider 1 Gallon bags for freezing larger amounts of food. It maintains my food fresher and the easy slider tab is very easy to use. I like the quality of the plastic. Ziploc is no longer my Go To
I bought a 24 pack of Ziploc Slider Freezer (gallon). There is a 5" sllit in each of the bags. I thought it was just a couple that were defective, but the whole box was unusable. I have always trusted the Ziploc name for it's quality when shopping for storage/freezer bags. That will not happen again because the quality and flimsiness of the bags have gotten progressively worse. Maybe the cheaper versions are actually better. I threw away my receipt because of my trust, so I couldn't return it to local store where I bought. That will not happen again.
